AVIATION-THEMED HOTELS AND PARKS An aviation-themed park opened in 2017 on 3 acres near the Cobb County International Airport-McCollum Field in Georgia. It features an airplane- shaped climbing rope web, control tower-themed bathrooms, and a picnic pavilion designed to look like an airplane wing. IMAGINE AVIATION An international destination to visit is the Aviodrome aviation theme park and museum located at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands. One of the very first naval aviators in St. Petersburg, Florida, Albert Whitted, is remembered at a local park featuring a plane with a custom cockpit, intricate control panel, and talk-tube communication with the control tower. You can see beautiful views of Costa Rica's rainforest and the Pacific Ocean from a unique suite at Hotel Costa Verde. A 1965 Boeing 727 fuselage is perched atop a 50-foot concrete pedestal. 17
